May 9, Olivier Klein, Minister for Cities and Housing, will present the conclusions of the CNR Logement. Prior to this meeting awaited by the real estate industry, the Vivere think tank, initiated by ikory and chaired by Bernard Michael, sent ten proposals to the dedicated ministry. It is “a contribution to solving the problem of the shortage of affordable housing in France”, he said in a press release. These proposals aim to “improve the financial attractiveness of intermediate rental housing in tight areas” and to “encourage institutional players and individuals to find their way back to investing in this asset class”.

Thus, Vivere, which brings together professionals from the sector concerned by residential issues and new regulations, wishes to create a status of private lessor for private investors in both new and old buildings, offering them the same advantages as institutions in the case of the rental of intermediate housing, but also to promote the financing of bulk purchases of new and old buildings, as well as the transformation of office assets for housing purposes.
