A simplified interface
The interface of Swissvoice S510-M was designed especially for seniors who have never used a smartphone or are uncomfortable with technology. Its 5-inch color touchscreen displays large, easy-to-read touchscreen icons. They can be activated by long presses to avoid any risk of error. It is also possible to set the click duration best suited to the dexterity of the user (adjustable according to four levels, from the slowest to the fastest). Each selection is confirmed by a visual feedback, the key turning blue, as well as by a vibration of the telephone.
The interface is used almost without scrolling down, a gesture with which seniors are uncomfortable. To further facilitate the use of the smartphone, the touch interface is accompanied by real keys to go back and access the reception very simply.
In addition, the three main functions are directly accessible on the home page: calls, messages and photos. Similarly, the three photos of the main contacts are displayed from the main screen to call your favorite contacts with a single click. The S510-M smartphone is able to transcribe text into voice, which makes it possible to listen to received SMS. It is also possible to use voice dictation to facilitate dialing, writing text messages or performing Google searches.
The device is suitable for people with visual or hearing difficulties. It is equipped with a powerful and adjustable ringer up to 85 dB to not miss any call. An amplifier increases the sound level of calls and the smartphone is also compatible with hearing aids (M4/T4). For people who have no hearing problems, the sound level returns to its initial default level with each new call.
Functions and accessories designed for an active life
The Swissvoice S510-M smartphone is equipped with an SOS button, placed at the back of the hull. Easily accessible in the event of an emergency, it triggers an emergency voice call to a person chosen upstream with a simple press and sends them an SMS with the GPS location. In addition, five text messages are also sent to five additional contacts. This reassuring function is also found on an SOS Bluetooth bracelet available as an option, which can be paired with the mobile phone. This accessory makes it possible to give the alert even if the user does not have his smartphone nearby (with a range of 10 m).
The Swissvoice S510-M is intended for active seniors, who use their telephone at home and outside. It comes with a magnetic charging cable that is very easy to use, even with one hand. No risk of making a mistake or damaging the socket if you have trouble connecting the charger because it connects itself to the phone thanks to its magnetic tip. A second accessory is offered as a choice: a shoulder strap case or a wallet case. Very trendy, the protective shell with removable cord and adjustable in length, allows the smartphone to be worn around the neck or over the shoulder to always have it at hand. As for the wallet case, it consists of an elegant leatherette protective case with an inner protective rubber shell. The closure tab is magnetic for quick and easy use and slots are provided in the pocket to store credit cards.
